With all of the court room drama going on with Nicollette Sheridan and the bosses at Desperate Housewives, you would be forgiven for forgetting that there’s still a TV show screening (only a few more episodes until it’s all over).

Yesterday, we were reminded of the show when the producers were forced to drop a bombshell at today’s court hearing.

Executive Producer George Perkins was forced to announce that a major character is being killed off on this Sunday’s show (US air date) to support his argument that characters get killed off all the time on Desperate Housewives.

Don’t read on if you don’t want to know who it is ….

**** SPOILER ALERT ****

Perkins was forced to reveal Sunday’s spoiler when, according to the LA Times, he was ‘asked if any other character of Edie’s prominence had been killed off, Perkins shifted uncomfortably in his seat before answering. ”Mike Delfino”‘

This response elicited gasps and shock from all in the room.

Apparently Mike’s death is a result of a mob hit! I never saw that one coming!

What is going to be the fallout from this? Susan (Terri Hatcher) is already losing it with having to keep her involvement in the murder a secret and her daughter’s revelation that she’s pregnant with Porter Scavo’s child. How is she going to cope with the fact that her   husband is dead? Will this be too much and mean the beginning of the end for Susan?

One thing that is guaranteed is all of this courtroom drama, and revelations, will mean even higher ratings for Desperate Housewives last ever episodes!

Here’s this season’s teaser trailer (which includes highlights of past seasons)

That’s Entertainment!

About The Bellissimo Files

My name's Sarina Bellissimo and I am a TV/Movie junkie. I can’t remember a time when I wasn't fascinated by all things Hollywood/showbiz. I blame my parents! As a child my mum used to force me to watch Elvis Presley films with her, and both my mum & dad would take my brothers and I to the Drive-In to watch the latest films (this is where my love for ROCKY began!). When not watching movies, I was trying to figure out ways to pull the back off the TV so I could somehow get into it and be a part of all the action on the screen! In 2007 I started as a regular contributor to We Love Movies. This means that I get to watch movies, talk about them and even interview some of my screen idols. I’ve interviewed the likes of Robert Pattinson, Ryan Reynolds, Daniel Craig, Uma Thurman, Colin Farrell, Cameron Diaz, and U2, to name but a few. One of my favourite interviews for We Love Movies was the one where I ended up sitting on Ashton Kutcher’s lap! Interviewing Sylvester Stallone would be a dream come true for me. I also appear regularly on Plan B to talk movies with Michelle Beatty as well as regularly contribute to Moncrieff’s Movies and Booze segment on Newstalk 106-108. I co-presented channel 6’s (now 3e) movie show Take Six and have appeared on Ireland AM's Movie & I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out of Here segments. Twitter: @SBellissimo
