I just wish they used a better format then the one they have chosen. While the content itself is fine, the format in which they present it is, just cliche and lacks originally. I have no problem with the two presenters sitting on chairs and talking, but the set just seems so large that there’s this weird echo when they speak.

Plus I wish they would explore film culture more. Just something that expands peoples cinematic horizon and let then know that’s they’re more films out there if you just look for them. Like I would love to see them do a small retrospect on “Lawrence of Arabia” when it re-releases in cinema on Nov 16th, or champion smaller films when they come out on DVD/Blu-Ray like “Berberian Sound Studio” for example.

My kids of course want me to buy the movie for the rainbow wig that is advertised on TV but we haven’t seen it yet. So I added it to my Blockbuster @ Home queue and it should be here in the next few days via mail. I did find the clip of the gang getting into the circus act funny but it also made me wonder if all animals come with the ability to do circus acts without training. I work at DISH so I’ve been using Blockbuster for a while now and I was hoping they would have Madagascar 3 available. I found that watching movies in 3D works best for the kids if it’s not a cartoon. My five year old complained that it made her head hurt and I agree, not always the most comfortable experience.
